URL Manager Pro overview
URL Manager Pro is the professional bookmark manager for Safari, Chrome, Chromium, Edge, Vivaldi, Opera, iCab, and Firefox browsers, making it easier to manage bookmarks.
This is a classic available since 1996, but now rewritten as a 64-bit Universal application. Supports Apple Silicon and Intel.
Features:
- System-Wide Access: You can access your bookmarks in any application through a system menu.
- Integration: You have access to your bookmarks from your browser's menu bar and from the macOS Dock.
- Document Storage: Your bookmarks are stored in URL Manager Pro bookmark documents, which you can store and manipulate in the normal Mac way. No need to hunt for your bookmarks in preferences folders of browsers. You can make automatic periodic saves and make copies of bookmark documents on backup devices on each save.
- History: You can surf the Web using several different browsers while URL Manager Pro will keep recording the History of each.
- Importing and exporting bookmarks: The File menu gives you a list of all of the browsers that URL Manager Pro can import from and export to. It lets you 'harvest' bookmarks by scanning HTML, PLIST and text files for bookmarks and URLs.
- It lets you edit and organize bookmarks fast: You can use inline editing, label and colour your bookmarks.
- iOS app included.

This is one of my most valuable apps. It's wonderful to have bookmarks available in multiple browsers. Actually, I never liked Safari's bookmark method so really depend upon URLMP. Very easy to organize the way one wants. Easy to add a bookmark by dragging or Command-K. Excellent support from the developer. Also available for iOS. The only negative I can say is that I see almost no publicity or advertising for this app. It should be a lot more popular than it is. It's sort of a secret gem. (p.s. It's not overpriced. This site would not post the review without one of their negative categories.)

This is without a doubt the best bookmark manager ever created for the Mac. Been using it since the early 90's. Was going to hold off on OSX Catalina until I could find an adequate substitute. So far no luck. I am so happy to find out it is being further developed for release in October.

Since years is only the lowest level of support and development left. Questions aren't answered, even when problems occured.
Any characters exceeding English are not supported and cause URLs not been opened. Many other issues. Updates of the OS also often make you stand out in the rain.
Actually the support and development (also of Web Confidential) died long time ago. The author only just fiddles around a bit when forced to do so, making the App run at least on lowest gear and building a base to charge new customers.
People better go searching a proper alternative ... if there is one.
